A month later, I just remember that this movie was good but not great. I am kinda sad that this is the fourth Despicable movie in 14 years, and Gru's adopted girls haven't aged, like, at all. The first two Despicable movies came out three years apart, so I could understand leaving the kids at the same age, but number 3 came out seven years after the first, and now it's been 14 years total. Margo, Edith, and Agnes are still 11, 8, and 5. Even if they didn't want to make the girls 25, 22, and 19, even making them 5-7 years older would still provide plenty of storytelling options!
Another perfect evening for a drive-in! We even saw a meteor streak across the sky above our heads!
