077: This Charming Mix

  1. "Always Something There To Remind Me" A cover of the Burt Bacharach - Hal David song by New Wave one-hit wonders Naked Eyes. I owned the cassette this song was on and only ever listened to this song- the first song on Side A - over and over. This song can be challenging to sing, not only for the wide vocal range required, but you have to pick your spots to breathe carefully too.
  2. "This Charming Man" The Smiths
  3. "Heather"A mostly instrumental, very sweet yet melancholy ode by Paul McCartney to his crazy, gold-digging, one-legged second wife, Heather Mills.
  4. "Boy Blue" [edit] Electric Light Orchestra
